He was a Chiricahua Warrior who rode with Geronimo and Cochise during the height of the Apache Wars.  But after his family was captured by Mexican army troops, he turned to the U.S. Army for help getting his wife and two little children back.  Was it a mistake?  Should he have stayed on the warpath?  The decision cost him 27 years of his life in prison.
